The year 2020 has finally come to an end. It has been a year of sorrow, a year that will certainly leave a mark on us. The COVID-19 pandemic has claimed more than 1.8 million lives around the world. We grieve over the cruelty of nature and the fragility of life. The sudden passing-away of Doctor Li Wenliang, Maradona, and Kobe also leaves us more contemplation on the meaning of life. We are nothing but tiny specks of dust in the vast nature. Our time in this world is limited; however, if we can make up our mind and dedicate our finite life to one thing of significance, we will have no regrets but gratitude for our decision when looking back years later.
When the sunshine of 2021 reaches the Earth, our world is again full of vitality. The history of human evolution, spanning hundreds of millions of years, is a history of unfailing perseverance and self-improvement. We believe that "Tomorrow is the best day". As Nietzsche said, "What does not kill me makes me stronger." Our company has emerged stronger from this unprecedented crisis.

Quick response and firm delivery despite difficulties
On January 26, the second day of the Chinese New Year, the severe COVID-19 outbreak caused Wuhan in a state of emergency. Our staff worked round the clock, producing 15 cleaning and disinfecting vehicles donated to Wuhan. These vehicles were sent to Wuhan immediately and started operating at the frontline of the battle against the pandemic. As a result, Infore Enviro received awards from Wuhan Urban Management Committee, Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce for its contribution in the fight against COVID-19. This is a national crisis; it is a strong sense of corporate social responsibility and a sincere desire to serve the country that drives us to do so.

On February 9, the sixteenth day of the Chinese New Year, many places in China started to resume work and production. Thanks to the support and attention given by the local governments, our factories in three cities were among the first to resume production. Our marketing staff also risked their lives to return to their workplaces. Back then, the marketing team from Xinjiang Branch drove to Urumqi by themselves. But when they were just 50 kilometers away from the city, they learned that the city was under a lockdown. They had no choice but to stay on the expressway. After two day's waiting, for the sake of safety, they decided to move to a nearby toll station to wait for opportunities. Finally, they were told that they could enter the city for quarantine. It was a challenging time, but our marketing staff have been real fighters. They have overcome all the difficulties and completed their targets this year despite the pandemic. They are among the most respectable people in our company.
In November, I visited a client for a kitchen waste sorting equipment project in Nanjing. During the visit, I was told that Mr. Wei Jianfeng, a deputy chief engineer at our company, returned to work for the project just four days after his father passed away to ensure that the equipment could be installed, tested, and delivered on time. I am deeply moved by Wei and my admiration for him goes beyond words. The chief executive of our client company, after learning about Wei's experience, spoke highly of our company. "God helps those who help themselves." Wonderful things will happen to you when you put all your efforts into doing the right thing.

"5115" Smart Sanitation Strategy: We find the right growth pole
Our mission is "Devoting itself to being a respected and trusted industry leader in intelligent environmental equipment and services led by environmental sanitation robotics.". We are convinced that machines replacing humans in doing labor work represents the general trend, especially for tiring labor work performed in a dirty and dangerous environment like urban sanitation. It is inhuman and increasingly unrealistic for humans to do most of the sanitation work. The data in the industry over the past 20 years proves this idea. In the past 20 years, China's environment and sanitation industry has been growing at a compound annual growth rate of over 10%, mainly because more and more sanitation work has been done by machines rather than humans. As China keeps urbanizing, the Central Government and local governments at all levels will pay close attention to the urban environment. Thus the industry will continue to experience rapid expansion in the next ten years.
Twenty years ago, we developed China's first cleaning vehicle. We believe that in the future, the sanitation equipment will be smaller, smarter and powered by new energies. We need to keep up with the times. Our goal is to further expand our product offering, develop more equipment for urban sanitation, road maintenance and greenery management, and free sanitation workers from tiring labor work in dirty and dangerous environments. We plan to teach them to use the equipment as a way to increase their productivity while reducing their workload. It can also help transform their jobs into technical jobs. Because sanitation work is not technical work, sanitation workers are ill-paid, earning as little as 2,000 to 3,000 yuan a month. I have a dream that one day, these workers can become technical workers through our training and see their monthly salaries increase from 5,000 yuan to 10,000 yuan. I hope that they can lead a more decent life and enjoy a brighter future!

That is why, Infore Enviro, China's largest sanitation equipment manufacturer, has proposed the strategy of "equipment plus services", which means offering both sanitation equipment and services. Our philosophy is "to manage through Internet-based means and adopt equipment in as much sanitation work as possible to enhance productivity and performance and eventually increase the income for sanitation workers." We hope that by doing so, we can help upgrade the environment and sanitation sector and get a virtuous cycle rolling.
In May 2020, we launched the "5115" Smart Sanitation Strategy in Shenzhen. In five years, we aim to achieve 100 billion yuan in the value of orders for sanitation services, 10 billion yuan in revenue and 2.5 billion yuan in corporate profit. We plan to increase R&D spending and attract more professionals in the areas of "Intelligent Equipment", "Smart Cloud Platform", and "Smart Service", with the goal of taking the industry to a higher level. We are delighted to find out that so far, the orders we achieved have already exceeded 40 billion yuan in value. We might be able to achieve the strategic goals in advance!

Keep Working Hard for Our Goals
Building a successful business is no mean feat. It cannot be done overnight but requires generations of hard work and dedication. The famous Chinese statesman Zeng Guofan said we should adopt the attitude of "simple-minded sincerity" in doing everything. I believe "simple-minded" means being down to earth. We should always follow market rules and work hard with our feet firmly planted in the ground. "The best shortcut is not to try to find a shortcut." From product development to production and quality control, from visiting the clients and making proposals to serving them, we need to uphold high standards for every business activity we conduct. We should always do our utmost to follow these standards, instead of trying our best for a while and give up. We should keep doing the right thing every day, every month, and every year, making improvements and progress through digitization. This is what the quote "Small changes can lead to big differences" means. Running a business is not about making ground-breaking achievements. It is the small incremental improvements that eventually let a business stand out. My understanding of "sincerity" is that a sincere "belief in a thing makes it happen". It is about believing with your heart that you will be able to make it. It is about working wholeheartedly to achieve your goal and tackling the problems you might confront. It is about being honest with yourself and seeking truth from facts. Never resort to self-deception or try to fool others. "Success is born out of hard work." All the problems, be it the loss of business or failure of products, all boils down to one cause, which is, underestimating the difficulty and failing to push yourself hard enough.
We are all ordinary people, not blessed with striking beauty or outstanding talent. For us, the ingredient of success, apart from perseverance, is "finding one area of interest and pool our resources to dig deep into it". There is no shortage of smart people and self-proclaimed dead-enders, but few of them become successful as most of them are fickle-minded speculators. When it comes to running a business, few people stick to one sector and dig deep into it. As a saying goes, "The money made by luck will eventually be lost by strength." This quote teaches us to be practical. Simplifying complicated tasks makes you a specialist. Practicing simple tasks makes you an expert. Putting your heart into practicing on one single task, however, makes you a winner. That's why we want to be the dead-enders in the environment and sanitation industry. We believe that what we devote to is rewarding for our employees, for our industry and for the whole society. Everyone will be able to share in our development. And we are convinced that, we, the down-to-earth dead-enders, will eventually be rewarded for our hard work.

We are tiny, fragile and insignificant. But the mission of committing to "Cleaner World, Better Future" unites us. "Our clients are vital to us", while "Employees are our partners." We aim to be "achievement-oriented, with competence beating mediocrity." We behold that "Technological innovation is the foundation of our development". These core values encourage us to seize the once-in-a-lifetime development opportunity of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation so that we, a group of ordinary people, firmly guided by the governments of all levels, can achieve something extraordinary in ten years. As a Chinese poem goes, "Man of firm resolve is never forsaken by Fate; But one needs to endure great hardship -- Just three thousand armored Yue troops; Great victory over Wu did scoop."

  The sunshine of 2021 spreads over the land of China and witnesses the country becoming stronger and more prosperous day by day. The warm sunlight relieves us of the burden we had in 2020 and empowers us to embrace the new year. The worst is bound to pass, while the best is yet to come. We kicked off 2021 with the greatest passion. When we work together, our passion converges and fires up our motivation. We support each other and carry each other through the coldest winter. We are determined to move forward. Each step we take will become wonderful memories and makes us better people.
